Hi, I have recently come across a banjo ukulele with a paper label just above the neck which reads Down South British Manufacture. There is also at the top of the headstock what looks like a horse or lion with the words British Make embossed into the wood. The wood is a very light colour and the resonator is silver metal. Would be grateful for any information of either the instrument or the company.
