The Brighton Taverners made three albums in the 70s & 80s. Their repertoire had many local connections and included songs from the nearby Copper family as well as by (then) local songwriters Steve Knightley, Allan Taylor and Miles Wootton.
They have always acknowledged a great debt of gratitude to Paul Downes, Phil Beer and Steve Knightley, without whose help these albums would probably never have seen the light of day and whose musical contributions made all the difference.
These albums have now been remastered to CD-R. In the unlikely event that anyone would want to clutter up their CD shelf please email me at sr@stureed.co.uk
