A couple of years ago someone with a sense of humour organised a televised competition between a pair of 12 year old boys with mobile phones and a pair of octogenarians with Morse key paddles. One of each pair was in Sydney and had to send a prescribed question to their counterpart in Perth (Oz version); their counterpart then sent the (prescribed) answer back to the sender.

The looks on the lads faces when they found they'd be beaten by the octogenarians (by a decent margin) were worth seeing; "disappointment and disbelief" was only the start of their expressions.
