It seems there was a song with the same or very similar title in the country field. Late sixties, I think, artist unknown. The lyrics went something like:

Second hand shoes, second hand clothes,
They all call her 'second Hand Rose',
They all think they are pretty smart,
But Rose ain't got a second hand heart.

Does this ring a bell with anyone or is it just a product of the vast wasteland I call my memory? Bet Dale Rose would know!
