Subject: RE: BS: Sore that wont heal
Are you interested in what wound clinics do for such problems? I've been there and done that and it was some of the most valuable info I ever got.....and it works! If you want things to heal that are hard to heal, this is what they train you to do.....this is what they use and this is how and why it works.........

PolyMem Dressing are made by Ferris in several different forms but for most uses the "Pink" will be fine. They make a colloidal silver dressing and it works like a champ but it costs a minor fortune. Go the your pharmacy and get two products:

1) PolyMem pad (pink will work fine) measures about 3x5--Made by Ferris
2) Tegaderm Dressings 6x7 cm(a bit over 2x2 inches)----Ref#9505W--You will need a couple of these.

The pads are not cheap but you only need one. You can cut it to the proper size and then reseal the rest for future use. It may take doing this twice to fully heal but it works and is most prescribed by wound clinics in hospitals.

Cut the pad to the right size and save the rest. CLEAN the area with saline solution (IT DOES NOT STING)..Use no medication of any sort, just clean and dry the area. Place the pad over the wound and cover with the Tegaderm bandage. Done neatly, they are quite tight and waterproof, completely clear except for a label area where you can write the date. Now you do nothing except to keep it on for about 4-5 days then remove it for a look. DO NOT CHANGE THE DRESSING DAILY or even every 2 or 3 days. Read the info below to see how polymems work. Rebandage as you did before if needed and check again in 4-5 days.

Now if you don't believe me, feel free to call a hospital or a wound clinic and ask them. They all know and use these products daily but it is about the best kept secret I can think of when it comes to the general population. Once you experience the amazingly fast healing of even the most difficult wounds, you'll keep the things around just for the little stuff too.

Put the honey on a biscuit, wash yourself down with the tea tree oil and have an aloe rubdown, then go to the pharmacy and get some polymem and tegaderm...........
