I am never sure what to call the introduction that leads you into a song. It's all too often omitted in transcriptions.Nevertheless, I am still seeking two introductory stanzas for Watson,Norton & Burnett's "My Melancholy Baby".
My recollection of these is :
" Come sweetheart mine Don't sit and pine I will do most anything you ask of me ...... "
" My love is true And just for you .....
or else I shall be melancholy too"
Can anybody out there fill in the blanks for me?
Many thanks,
jb
