SHEFFIELD
Polyfolk at the Grapes, Trippett Lane, on Tuesdays.

I got to Sheffield in 1980 by which time the FC at The Grapes was on Fridays - saw loads of great acts there and did a few spots myself.

I was back in Sheffield last year and stuck my head into the Grapes, and it still looks exactly the same: the same dark wooden bar with the green and yellow tiled floor, the same worn carpet leading up the stairs to the upstairs room where the club ran ... and probably the same drinkers and glasses from the look of it :)
