In 1967, when colour TV first started in the UK, we were renting a black & white TV set from a local radio & TV shop.

One day my Dad was talking to the proprietor and asked him when he would be getting some colour sets in.

'I'm not bothering.' was the reply, 'I can't see it catching on...'
