Lucky for us you turned them down, Donuel!

A couple of things: I am being treated for depression. There are days when I am not sure I have the energy/focus to have my six year old grandson over after school. Today, for instance, but I told him to come when he called and figured I'd "get it together." He and I have a special bond of Love.

He came, we had lunch, then I remembered I had put a small fast food cup of root beer in the freezer for him as he didn't come the day before when I thought he would to drink it. It was a surprise to him.

Well, we got it out, I started chipping away at a sold block of root beer ice and we spent the next 50 minutes eating it in small chunks, then larger, laughing and having so much fun. He told me how we could make some money by making root beer ice cubes and selling them to other kids and how he has popsicle molds at home so he could make us each root beer popsicles. At one point, he kind of kicked back in his chair and said, "Ah, this is the life!" Pure love and voila! depression was in the far distance.

The other thing is, I've posted links to this before, but it bears re-reading, imo AND puts Robertson and his ilk in the dirt, read what Woody Says About Love in "My Secret."
