The debacle referred to by Guest at 11:51 up there: Cadbury cut back on the cocoa and substituted palm oil, which made a softer and different-tasting product, and they also reduced the block size slightly. It made the national news! Then the 'greenies' got involved, because palm oil plantations are a blight on the face of the Earth, it seems.
Cadbury responded immediately and put things back the way they were.

I don't think NZ gets our chocolate from Brummegem directly. I think we get it from a subsidiary in Oz. It may have been a test case. If so, they were found guilty.
