Then there is the wonderful take-off on Chattanooga Choo Choo ---Pullman Porter holds a wild cat and says to the passenger (who, in the song, had left his shoes out to shined and they were ruined by said cat)"...pardon me but isn't this the cat that chewed your new shoes".
