I've been taking a long hard look at Rolling of the Stones recently myself, a song that has been with me now since 1976 and one which Jim Causeley's rendition prompted a similar reaction to CS (see HERE) for which I received a double tongue-lashing from Diane Easby & Joan Crump who mistook what is a fair & honest appraisal as nastiness. Nothing could be further from the truth - after all, it takes a lot of talented musicianship, professionalism & dedicated hard work to make such wholly dispiriting & soul-destroying music - just listen to Mantovani, or The Carpenters, or even Queen.
