Non-profits and labor unions don't have the kind of resources that large fat-cat corporations have, so I think Bobert is correct in his assessment. And the electorate can't make reasonable choices if they don't know what all of the choices are, which the corporations do everything in their (ever inreasing) power to prevent them from doing.
