1) Armies are made up of people with varying religious beliefs. I was an atheist. I would not have wanted 'biblical scripure references' on my rifle scope/sight.
2) Suppose people who worship the devil (work with me here) decided hidden messages should go on some rifle sights and soldiers who believe in god weren't informed? Wouldn't that piss you off?
3) I do not want people's beliefs shoved down my throat. They have a right to their beliefs. They also have the right to shut TFU about them.
