This is great news; but, has anyone heard it confirmed from a news source yet?

And as to why Pete built a long neck banjo -- I heard an interview with a fella from Elderly Instruments on the radio yesterday, and he said that it was because Pete has a baritone voice, and he needed a banjo that would fit his low voice range.
