Dairy Milk may be made with Fairtrade chocolate, but Cadbury's don't really put all that much chocolate (or cocoa, to be more accurate) in their stuff, do they? To the best of my knowledge, it's padded out with palm oil (and there are environmental concerns about that!), which explains the slimy texture, and excess sugar, which explains the sickliness.

Much as I would hate to see jobs lost, and much as I respect the progressive social attitudes of the owners of Cadbury's in the past, the age of Cadbury's being a quality chocolate maker is long gone. These days, Cadbury's success is based on good business practice, a famous brand name, astute marketing and extensive advertising; not on quality!
