Every day the bus arrives at school and Daniel gets off and comes into the class. He looks at the photo on the door (me) and says 'Are you going to be teacher today Miss Gilday?' I say 'Yes'
He then asks 'Is Mrs Townley not my teacher anymore?'
'no'
'She's at home with hers baby?'
'Yes'
'You're going to stay my teacher until I'm in L2'
'Yes'
'I love you Miss'
'I love you too Daniel. Shall we sit down and get on with the register.'
And then the day can begin and Daniel is happy having been reassured that the world is unchanged today!
