I agree with Kendall. I have been driving Front Wheel Drive for 40 years and find that snows on the front tires will get me out of anything I care to drive in.

If conditions are too bad for driving in FWD, they are too dangerous for 4WD or AWD.

Don't tempt fate by taking unnecessary chances. Work can wait for a day or you can phone it in. If it cannot [as when I was classed as "essential personnel at the hospital where I worked] you can get transport from the police if anything is moving.
