Can't stay here long -- it's too cold in front of the computer. I think that howling north wind is aimed straight at me through the north wall. Besides, I don't have much time to bring in a few loads of firewood, stuff the stove and head to work. I'll tell you about Rufus' 2 a.m. antics later -- he wanted to be petted, he wanted to play. Didn't care that I was asleep and really wanted to stay that way!

When I talked to Tom this morning, the first thing I noticed was a new "voice" -- there's a louder, clearer, the only thing I can call it is a thread within his voice. Something is trying to work -- like his "growly" voice, but different. I think it would please Dr. Z.

Anywho, gotta go -- can't type with mittens on.
