I'm so GLAD I found this site! I really, really wanted to know these lyrics. I have this song (Come Along, Charlie/Green Corn) by Josh White...downloaded from Amazon. I play it constantly and have it on repeat. I could not figure out the green corn part. Thank you for that. I still am not sure if they are saying demi-john, jimmy-john, jimmy-jug? I would appreciate any help with this.
