It always irritates me that the musicians for TV programmes don't get credited. Everyone else, down to the person who wipes the 2nd unit's assistant electrician's mate's arse, seems to get a credit. Wrong union, I suppose.

It was an excellent programme with strong performances all round. Recent events have put Tony Blair's parachuting in at the last minute to claim the credit for the Good Friday agreement in a new light - at the time it seemed he could do no wrong, how long ago that now seems!

I'd love to know the thought process at Channel 4 which went "Mo Mowlem - Northern Ireland - what we need is a hammered dulcimer!" Inspired choice, and choice of player, though.
