Aw, gee, Bill, I'm glad you've almost come to the point of tolerance. I really tried to learn the song the right way, but it just didn't come (mostly because I didn't have a recorded or printed source to learn from). There's a YouTube recording of somebody else singing the song here (click) - is that closer to the original tune?
