Dick (Ptarmigan) - out of curiosity, is the Forum for all tenor banjos, regardless of tuning? I keep my tenor banjo and tenor guitar in what I call "standard" C-G-D-A tuning - like a viola. I understand that a lot of Irish stuff is often played using a different tuning on longer-necked instruments.

And if "standard" tuned tenor banjos are allowed - do tenor guitars qualify? :-)
