And if one of those has made it as far as Ayers Rock it's tougher than most!
I seem to recall that a saltie made its way to Dunmarra Roadhouse once and decimated the owner's chooks. Dunmarra is on the Stuart Highway and about 600 miles from the nearest (previously) known location for salties. But that was quite a while ago.
