I remember being held down by a receptionist and a nurse while the dentist drilled away with a slow speed drill and hit the nerve which simply would not be anaesthetized. Agony. Fast forward 40 years and my new dentist had the same problem. An xray showed that the nerve wasn't where it was supposed to be which was why multiple injections didn't work. Never again...
