I know what you mean. It's surprising, really, how uninteresting the Olympics can be. For me, the boredom is 'relieved' only by the tension of watching some young person do some sport which is far too dangerous. Then I refuse to watch.

I don't believe I'll take up anything new. I'll sew earth-toned shirts for an upcoming bird-watching trip to Costa Rica. (Never been anywhere like that before.)
