Bill D -

Some of the (perhaps "later") models have very flat "top" surfaces, or the cheap "non-professional" ones in the toy shops. This feature is especially common in the "gimme" toys frequently (formerly?) given away as advertising gimmicks. You have to look around a bit for the best ones.

The Frisbee has the advantage that you can toss them in with the "game equipment" instead of having to "put them away" with the dinnerware, and sometimes (at festivals) if you leave them out on a picnic table after lunch the young urchins will recognize them and be distracted from their spoons, bones, whistles, musical toads, and other obnoxious toys to actually play with them (for a little while).
