Films that gained much from great scoring for me includes the 1960's Tom Jones and more recently October Sky & The Englishman That went up a Hill and Came Down a Mountain.

To be honest - the only parts of Titanic that I enjoyed were the scenes below deck with the music & dancing... the rest of the film really torked me off.

But don't forget the great music used in the old Looney Tunes cartoons.
