I listened with half an ear 'til 422 (INcidentally, Sam, did you realise with the upper case key your band is $"", or the Dollar Speechmarks, phoentically!) came on. I know old Mikes heart's in the right place (Unfortunately he got on my tits on an audio book back awhile, wetting his pants about the pronounciation of the Heemarleeyah, or Himalayas to the rest of the non sherpa world) but I do find his presentation vacuous, and I pine for the golden age of Jim Lloyd.I enjoyed their pieces, but I am an accordion nut, and a big fan (and wannabe!) of Sam's style of playing, so I personally felt a bit shortchanged that it didn't showcase his genuine accomplishment. But then again (As CarolC said) in a world of accordion haters, it was respectful to hear him playing under the fiddle and whistle, sounding more like a melodeon with attitude.
And if MH mentions that bloody cowshed once more......

(Fully expecting to be vilified on next weeks show!)
