Well, there are quite a few things to criticise but it's not just one person who is responsible for everything.
I'm not sure whether Akenaton is referring to the "aristic director"(Donald Shaw) in particular? He is really just involved with the programming side of things and any other disasters aren't necessarily his fault.

Back on topic, I enjoyed the parts of the festival which I chose to go and see during the second weekend. There is a lot of good stuff in the festival but....dare I say it.... the bulk of it is superflous to my requirements and much of it is somewhat indulgent nonsense.
However, it's whatever takes your fancy, I suppose.

My main criticism is that there are no longer any advantageous deals for those people who wish to attend several concerts, ie over a weekend or even over the fortnight since the revised the Celtic Friends scheme.
Part of the enjoyment about going to festivals is getting the opportunity to hear new, different acts...even take a few risks. However, with the present pricing system, you are obliged to be much more selective which is a pity.
