Thread Name: Lyr Req: 'Let her go'?
Subject: Lyr Req: Let her go?
By what can be taken from the lyrics we have, the title may be "Let Her Go"; however that is far from definite. Have found nothing in the forums here, nor in any other search.
The lyrics my mother can recall are as follows:
She was tall; she was lean; she was thin. She has hair on her lips and on her chin. It's the face that nature gave her, But somebody's got to shave her. Let her go. He'll need his razor. Let her go.
She has teeth that come out every night, And without her false hair, boy, is she a fright! At bed time I declare, Most of her stays on the chair. Let her go, if you can have her; let her go.
She declares she is nuts about flowers. Says among them she's spent many happy hours. I don't doubt it, holy Moses! How that woman loves Four Roses! Let her go, if you can have her; let her go.
Any help and/or information is greatly appreciated.
