Conrads Bistro. I worked as a waitress there for a few yars in the mid 70s for the formidable Ulterwoman Daphne who sadly died in Spain a few years ago aged 69. She was a great partier after the bistro closed and would have parties with all the late nighters from theatres and the Belsize Tavern. Spag bols were a favourite, gammon with pineapple and Negresse en Chemise desert.   Al Stewart used to go there. Anyone remember those times.
