One of the best samplers I remember from those years was 'This Is Blues' on the Island label. I bought it for my brother in Woolworths for Christmas in 1970 - and kept it!

Island did a great 2-lp sampler called 'Bumpers' that year which had some great stuff by Fotheringay, Fairport, Nick Drake and a wonderful song by Dave Mason called 'Little Woman' which was later covered by Mr. Fox but otherwise seems to have disappeared altogether.

They both turn up on Ebay from time to time.
