I'm sure I recall one or two British bands having to add 'The British...' or 'UK' to their names in the North American because there already existed an American band with the same name (even if the latter was incredibly low-profile and unlikely to be confused with the Brit act). But my memory has decided to refuse to remember any examples. Very helpful.
