Seriously, Summer is a comin in...etc.etc. It wouldn't surprise me if Jim is block booked every weekend (If no he damn well should be)
And I know that pre-recording a 2 hour show is very time consuming...(Takes about 4 hours in reality). Not to mention the hours of listening, programming the order etc. Folkiedave will agree I'm sure!
I'm sure that Jim couldn't commit to that sort of time outlay. Richard Digance obviously hasn't got any gigs!
