Thanks. We don't want to have to pay to move one on and off the property or hook up septic, water, and power; nor do we want to pay taxes on it. If we do this at all it is through the insurance company, it is furnished, and they haul it away within a year- when we want it gone.

We've been living way below poverty level without any support services for years; this loss has taken our energy, money, hope, strength. What we have left is faith in our God and trust in our marriage; not a whole lot more than that.

You are all wonderful to be so full of good ideas, but this is the best option that is open to us; there are companies that specialize in temporary emergency housing after fires and similar disasters. I have the names of three in the New England area. They would work directly with the insurance company. I hoped someone might have used such a company and could recommend or warn against it. Maybe no one here has actually used such a service. Fair enough.

I'm tired and sad. Sorry to throw a wet blanket over shiny new ideas. Have a restful night, friends.
