Not quite on the same thing but it definitely is about footballer's English.

My wife and I play a game now when either listening or watching footballers being interviewed.

We count the number of " you know" in any sentence.

David Beckham once held the record as far as we counted but since being made captain of England he improved markedly.

I watched Robbie Savage being intervied recently and he is in the running to be World Champion " you knower".

The ironic thing is that in this interview he was saying that his career as a footballer is nearing it's end and he intends to become a TV Pundit.....yer know.
