You know, when you know a great bar to go? Good beer, good music, good people. Then someone comes in that is a loud mouth. They only goes there to cause trouble. A few people start to shout them down but that only makes matters worse. The barman comes over and tell you not to cause trouble, but you know that unless you do something it will get out of hand.

It happened to our folk club once. When we were at the Football in Swinton and we regularly filled the room. You could not get any more in. But they got a new landlord. An organist came in, made a lot of noise, got the landlord on his side and, eventualy, they told us we had to move. I went in the same pub three weeks later and it was empty but for a bloke playing 'guess your own name' in the corner and a woman asleep on the table.

Hope it never happens here...
