OK JOe, I'm game. I was NEVER told when Max made me a moderator, what to do. I was therefore left to make up my own mind as to what was right and what was wrong. Obviously we disagreed on that matter of taste.
Talking about editing according to personal taste, you do it all the time.
I am not sorry that I am no longer a moderator, quite the reverse in fact, as it isn't a position of autonomy, one is merely instructed to follow your orders.
What bugs me, and will continue to do so, is the patronising attitude you adopt to me and to others. You have upset many people on this site, by your unneccessary and hurtful comments. Either by adding them to the bottom of their posts, or by PM's.
Now I have not only received those from you, but I have been forwarded copies of those you have sent to others.
I think you need lessons in man management my friend, because tact is not your strong suit.
That is the nub of my grievance, and I am not alone in my opinions on this matter either.
