I say "no". Definitely not. An alienated Dachshund is quite likely to bite your lower leg, pee on your furniture, and commit a variety of acts of property destruction.

He will also spend much time hurling canine vocal abuse in your direction...and they're loud little guys.

Never alienate your Dachshund. Never alienate anyone else's Dachshund either. That's my advice.

You can make friends with any Dachshund easily by offering him:

2. praise
3. more food
4. appreciation
5. and MORE food!
