Forgot to add that the birthday do was populated by people from, in the main, Yorkshire. while ours was from Lancashire. Made for some interesting friendly banter about largese:-)

Man in free-fall wwhen he discovers neither his main or reservce parachutes work. As he prepares to meet his maker he sees another man heading in the opposite direction - upwards! In a final act of desperation he shouts, "Know anything about parachute?"

"No," came the reply, "Know anything about gas cookers?"
