Your comments about the typical neurotic suburban Dachshund are pretty accurate, but you obviously haven't met a "hunting" Dachshund. Those guys are proud of who they are, take a back seat to no one, are afraid of nothing, and they get the job done! If you were to follow their sterling example, I think you would do very well...maybe even be able to pay off your dilapidated fallen down trailer home and put your beat-up old car back on the road. Maybe buy your wife some shoes too.
