Once upon a time I saw some snow when I visited a friend who had moved to Cooma, close to the Snowy Mountains. It was good to visit for a weekend - I threw a snowball, saw a snowman & slid in the snow, but I wouldn't want to live there! And the Australian snow season is a lot less then the east coast USA snow season. Our Winter Olympians have to live in Europe or Northern America to get enough snow to train.
