Mine is a C-system chromatic - that's not the issue, the bass end is (there isn't that much difference between piano and chromatic-button fingering). I doubt if there was ever such a thing as a piano accordion with a Belgian bass; the only Belgian basses I've ever seen have been on button chromatics (Emile Verchuren played one like that). Maybe some oddball might have had a Belgian bass B-system made.
