Thread Name: Rochester Sweeps. Any Good Singarounds
Subject: RE: Rochester Sweeps. Any Good Singarounds
I second what Richard has said above and I particularly recommend 'The Man of Kent' Ale House which always has a great range of choice of hand pulled real ales and a brilliant atmosphere.

In previous years my side and myself have had some smashing sessions there for both singers and musicians and have always found the proprietors to be extremely welcoming to folkies and really good fun.

The Man of Kent is off the beaten track away from the High Street but it is well worth making the effort to visit for an all night session.

I've been there many times and literally have the T shirt and the T shirt says that it is on John Street, Rochester. I know that the Police Station is fairly close by but they always seem to have a very relaxed attitude during The Sweeps festival. Just ask a local and they will point you in the right direction.

Hope that helps.
