The Good intent is a great place over the weekend with great musicians and singers and excellent beer.
There is also a wide variety of other venues in the town centre too. a program of the events is available nearer the time.
U went for the first time last year and throughly enjoyed myself.

The High street is a spectacular array of color in regards to Morris-men /women and in fantastic costumes. Its a bit like the Wildebeest Migration by 12.00 noon on the high street due to crowds but if one can walk the high street at least twice early Saturday and Sunday and enjoy the dancing and music by 1300 hrs last year I was content having seen enough and all ther was and so retired to the Good intent for a great afternoon and evening into night,
