's what I do as well, Bonzo! You can also claim £5 a day unreceipted subsistance or £15 a day if you do more than 12 hours. I did end up paying too little VAT in the first year as I misinterpreted it as paying the flat rate on pre-vat sales - It isn't. It's on sales AND vat. Easily sorted though.
