Ouch !! I was not identifying with them I was just trying to say that they probably would not agree with "folkies" having higher IQ's.

On the other hand it could be that the high IQs are responsible in some way for the lack of recognition for *folk music. They are too busy thinking instead of taking part.

I think you have a point though about teachers.
