It was the bookkeeping that scared me when I started 14 years ago.
After a while I learned how to set up ledgers in Excel so that the arithmetic and GST(VAT) were calculated automatically.
See if you can find someone who will give you a copy of a set templates for three ledgers, invoices, estimates/quotations, etc.

I just give the accountant my stuff at the end of the year, and he's happy with them. The only other times I see him is when I do a job for him.
