Without getting up in the attic, I seem to remember that Arthur Argo put a bit of Chapbook's history in the magazine, from it's beginning as the Aberdeen Folk Club's newsletter.

I used to sell it at Edinburgh University Folk Song Society, and I'm sure we sold quite a few extra copies during the Edinburgh Festival to people who thought it was a programme to the show.
